6. What is GReAT for? We want to develop a computer therapy. We hope it will help people with aphasia. We hope it will help them use gesture. People can practise at home. We hope the gestures will help people to communicate.
7. What are we doing? We are working with five people with aphasia These are our aphasia experts They are helping to develop the computer therapy They are giving us advice about what they find easy and difficult They are helping us to think about other people who have had a stroke.
8. In the Future We want to test the computer therapy. We want to see how it works for people at home. We will do a research study to test this. This will involve other people who have aphasia after a stroke. The research study will begin in May 2011.
